THIAGO ABDALLA
Thiago Abdalla had his bachelor and master's degree in music from São Paulo University (BR). He gets schollarships by CNPq to academic researches and to participate on the festivals: "50th Musica en Compostela " in Spain, "41 of the Winter Music Festival of Campos do Jordao" in the "III Music Festival of Santa Catarina" in Brazil. In the performance area, in addition to his solo repertoire, integrate the Brazilian leading guitar quartet "Quaternaglia" since August 2010, undertake the project "Modinhas and Lundus - Revisiting the Nineteenth Century Brazilian Classical Songs" along with Jobi Espasiani since 2008. And his teaching activity deserves notability because: is one of the youngest musicians to teaches "Tom Jobim EMESP" an renowned brazilian concervatory and board member of the ABRAORFF - Orff-Schulwerk Brazilian Association - which promotes the exchange of artists and teachers around the world, as well as training courses for teachers in Brazil.
Had the opportunity to present musical works to: Leo Brouwer (Cuba), Jose Luis Rodrigo (Spain), Mario Ulloa (Costa Rica), Eduardo Isaac (Argentina), Zoran Dukic (Croatia), José Antonio Escobar (Chile), Fabio Zanon (Brazil) and Henrique Pinto (Brazil). He won's the 1st prize in "X Musicalis Guitar Competition," ASESC 2008 prize for best soundtrack for theater and a finalist in the 3rd Generation Furnas Musical Concert in the Music category.
